Uttar Pradesh is the gateway of Uttarakhand. Kanpur on the Delhi-Howrah route is an important town. We reached Kanpur by train and travelled to Lucknow, the capital of U.P. by Maruti Van. The fare was about Rs 1000/- for around 60km.
